Senior Mechanical Engineer – Site / Construction & Plant Rooms
To lead and supervise the execution of mechanical building-services works on site, with particular responsibility for mechanical plant rooms, HVAC systems, chilled-water systems, mechanical equipment, piping, testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and control the execution of mechanical works in accordance with approved shop drawings and specifications.
- Take a leading role in the installation, coordination, completion and commissioning of mechanical plant rooms.
- Supervise installation and completion of mechanical equipment including Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, AHUs, etc.
- Supervise chilled-water piping installation and testing.
- Lead and coordinate mechanical testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure mechanical works comply with approved quality requirements and coordinate QA/QC inspections.
- Supervise mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
- Coordinate mechanical works with other disciplines and resolve site clashes.
- Lead mechanical snagging, punch-list activities, and ensure systems are ready for handover.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 8–12 years in Mechanical MEP Construction / Site Supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review mechanical designs, drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements, codes, and standards.
- Independently perform, review and verify mechanical engineering calculations.
- Review and coordinate mechanical BIM/Revit MEP models and resolve clash detections.
- Review technical submittals for mechanical equipment and materials.
- Prepare, review and maintain technical documentation, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Take ownership of outstanding mechanical technical issues required for project completion.
- Coordinate with technical management, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
